Dear Mom and Dad, Two days ago a group of terrorists entered the Charlie Hebdo magazine headquarters and shot and killed 12 employees including the editor, two policemen, and four very well known cartoonists. Currently I'm in Marseille and i just wanted to let you know that I am OK. The terrorist attack was at 10 Rue Nicolas-Appert, 11th arrondissement of Paris, France. If I was in Paris, that is 1 kilometer or 11 minutes walking from Catherine, Madeleine, and my apartment. So don't worry I am fine.  I think that the terrorist attack was awful and wrong.  Those people had no right to kill all of the french people for just a magazine article.  Yes, what the cartoon's showed was insulting towards the Islamic people, but the reaction was way too severe.  A much easier solution would be just to express you feelings in a non-violent way.  The Islamic people who did this need to understand that violence isn't the answer.  We have freedom and rights to speak what we want without being punished like in this incident.
